Another month and the Tuesday meeting is just two days away...
We are waiting for you and your needles at Shakespeare Cafe (rehhan area branch) Tuesday 22 May 10 am (ofcourse this is in Abu Dhabi )

For those who are in the island and wants to use the BUS take Bus numbers ( i marked them also on the map):


34(AD courts),
44 (officers club),
54(petroleum institute) , 
56(khalifa park)


For Buses 34 ,44 and 54 you would leave the bus before you reach the traffic light of 31st street... there are 3 stops ,  the 1rst one is a bit far so the 2nd and the 3rd are equally good..
For Bus nb 56 best drop drop off is the 2nd  the 3rd is not available since the bus will take left lane after the 2nd drop off...




****THEY SAY that the temperature is only 42C today ......pfffffffffffffff my skin will tell you it is maybe 49 and reaching 50..........

Delicate wash

We are always worried when we  gift a hand knitted item that the receiver won't know how to wash it so we tend to give the yarn band and extra yarn just in case....
I saw this tag somewhere and i loved it....

It was unanimous on Friday to meet again at Shakespeare & Co coffee shop at al Rehhan area branch...:)

First Abu Dhabi meeting for 2012

Volvo Ocean race  is in town and they are located near Marina Mall so the ladies were a bit worried about the parking issue on Friday , so after a poll we have decided to meet somewhere else for this Friday..


so for Friday 13 January we will meet Abu Dhabi Mall , Eric Kaysser cafe from noon ..

Knitting Tuesday 27 December!

Our Last meeting for the year 2011 is on Tuesday 27 December.....
We will meet at Cafe Arabia from 10am....
it is located on 15th street between 2nd str and 24th....

That is the loveliest gift :)

Shakespeare & Co "Again "

In this month we the "Amiras" kinda feel that we need to knit together more then twice and so we are:)

Therefore we are going to meet on Tuesday 20th December again at Shakespeare & Co in Al Rehan Area..

That cafe was our choice last month because it was close to the home of a Mom to be knitter .... and we chose it again this month for almost the same reason , but this time so we can see the new MOM and her adorable lil girl....

so Tuesday 20th from 10 am .....
